Weekend in L.A.

Last Weekend I visited my dad (Edward Wong) in L.A. and it seems like he is in good health and getting ready of the Christmas Holiday and also the Chinese New Year at the Buddhist Temple.

I took some picture and thought you might enjoy seeing some of them. He was also curious as to if anyone knows if Eric Wong's sister Amanda is living in L.A. My dad thought he recognized her.

In addition, I just sent out an email with everyone's address, please update with the email you want to keep in touch with. I will make more of an effort next year to send emails to everyone when events or posting occurs.

Any thoughts?

Germany - Bianc & Matt

Hello everyone,

These photo's are from a couple of months ago now. We went to Germany for just over a week and it was great fun.

We spent 4 nights in Munich during Oktoberfest which was a great experience. Then we headed up to Berlin for another 4 nights. Matt unfortunately caught a stomach virus on our last day in Munich so spent all our Berlin time in our hotel room :( I got out and saw the sights though.

We are on our home stretch now with only 5 month 's left in England and then we will be back in Perth a couple of months after that. We still have a winter to get through in this place though.

Hope you all enjoy the pics.

Pics of Jules, Joseph, Yati

Hi,

We just had a photo session with Jules on a chilly Sunday afternoon.

We found that Jules is not really a smiley baby. She tends to stare at the camera and just eyeballs the cameraman.

After an hour of singing and jumping behind the cameraman and his assistant, we managed to get a few choice shots.

more to come.

Bianc & Matt in Amsterdam

A few weeks ago Matt and I went to Amsterdam for 3 days. It is a pretty crazy city and we had a good time. 3 Days was definitely enough though.

We went to the Heineken brewery, did a canal cruise, hired bikes to ride around the place and checked out a local "coffee shop". It was fun!

Cheers

Bianca

P.S Nice hair Matt!!!

Added new Widget

Hi Everyone,

I have noticed that most of you have a difficult time posting comments or content on our site, so before I continue to spend time developing a site for us, I thought I might try to see if anyone is even interested in continueing the blog.

I have added a new wigget so at the very least you can just click. If we do not get any participation at all, I might stop posting also.

Hello again,

Matt and I headed to Scotland a few weekends ago. We went as part of a tour group travelling on a coach. We stayed in Edinburgh for 2 nights seeing the Military Tattoo on one of those nights which was really cool. We also spent a morning at Sterling Castle and travelled through the Lake district on the way home.

Here are the photos.

Alaska Cruise - Holland America - Noordam

Leonard & I went to Alaska with an incentive group for our travel agency in August. We started our trip from Seattle and visited the ports of Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka and Victoria BC. We had a great time, even though it is not our first trip to Alaska it was the first time in August. The Weather was perfect and in Ketchikan we were able see the Salmon jumping upstream to spond.

I bloged about our trip on my airline employee travel blog site. If you want to see details of the cruise you can visit that site.

Bianc & Matt in Portugal

Hello everyone,

We just got back from 11 days in Portugal and here are some of our photo's.

We started off in Braga which is in the North of Portugal. We were there for 5 nights and stayed with my family (yes, they're everywhere!). It was really good to get away from London and enjoy some real hot weather.

We met up with Giselle, James and Milla who are touring around Europe by car at the moment which was nice. We spent our time seeing the sites and went to my cousins wedding which was a blast. I caught the boquet - Uh oh!

We also drove up to a beach town in Spain for the day called Vigo. It was so good to have some heat and sun as the summer in England has been wet and miserable.

After Braga, Matt and i caught the train south to Lagos which is part of the Algarves. It is a small holiday town on the south coast of Portugal. We had an awesome time eating, drinking, swimming and relaxing.

Before flying home we caught a bus to Lisbon and spent a couple of nights there. While in Lisbon we went to Fatima which is a huge religious site.

Anyway, we hope you enjoy.

Hello everyone,

Here are some more photo's for your viewing pleasure. Over Easter we all went to Scotland as part of a tour group which was good as everything was taken care of for us and we just got to enjoy the ride.

We took the train to Scotland on Good Friday morning and spent the afternoon in Edinburgh. Then, on Saturday, we went in a coach to Loch Ness which was a really nice drive through the Scottish Highlands and stopped at Urquhart Castle which is on the banks of Loch Ness. Then on Sunday we spent the day back in Edinburgh before heading home on Monday morning.

Hope you enjoy. View the Pictures

Teresa's Family

I just found these pictures from when Steve and Val visited in Denver. They were the ones who started me thinking about this site and pulling everyone together. Val had sent me some pictures, I thought I'd share it with the family. If you ever want to see a picture in a larger format, click on the picture.

Inconvenient Truth

Hi all. This is an immense issue for all of us. Inconvenient, though.

If you don't read all of this article, at least read the sections I've underlined. The ice sheets will vanish by the end of the century (my grandkids lifetime). If you want to see a complete illustration of what's happening, rent or buy "An Inconvenient Truth".

This is from The Star Press online today.

Thanks
Val

Vancouver BC

Hi Everyone,

Leonard & I just got back from Vancouver BC in Canada. Had a great time. We visted lots of tourist sites, from Gastown, Chinatown, Yaletown, Grandville Island and Standley Park. We walked everywhere and had no idea how out of shape I was until the 2nd or 3rd day when I could hardly walk anymore.

We also had some fantastic meals on Robson Street. Like I said, we walked everywhere, whether it was from Downtown to Robson or he West End back to Standley Park and downtown, we walked it. We even managed to try some Malaysian and Singaporean Restaurants. You know they were pretty good. It Reminded me of back Home.

Just thought you'd like to know or NOT...

We are off to Scotland for Easter and will be visiting Loch Ness so we will be sure to take heaps of photos and send them to you all.

So here are some photo's of our time in Paris for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy

Bianca & Matt xoxo

P.S Daylight savings has just kicked in (1 hour forward) cos it is apparently the 'summer season' but i am yet to experience any warm weather whatsoever! :)

Bianc & Matt in London (Leeds Castle)

Hello everyone,

Sorry it's been so long between updates but to tell you the truth not much has been happening. Matty and i are full throttle working trying to save as much pound as possible.

Now that Giselle, James and Milla are here and we have a car we are starting to venture out and see the countryside a bit more. A few weeks ago we visited Leeds Castle in Kent. It was pretty cool and a good time was had by all.

The weather here is getting a lot nicer and the days are getting
longer which is exciting. We went for a nice Sunday stroll through Hyde Park over the weekend and it was amazing to see everyone out and about with no shirts on soaking up the sun. It was a wopping 16 degrees!!!

We are heading to Paris on the Eurostar on Friday for 4 days and are really looking forward to that. I will make sure i take lots of photos from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Au revoir

Bianc and Matty xoxo

Giselle checks in..

Hello cousins,
This is a fantastic idea! Much appreciated Stopher on your efforts. The Wong family is huge, it's great to be able to see what everyone is up to. I am Giselle oldest daughter of Jenny (Wong) and Joe Gomes. I have a sister Bianca, brother Nathan and little sister Jessica. I am married to James Howard and we have a dughter Milla Giselle who is 18 months. Jame sand I have been married for just over 5 years and we are currently living in London for a bit of a life change from country Western Australia. We were living in a mining town called Kalgoorlie for the last 5 years. James is a mining engineer and I am a registered nurse/midiwife. However, these days I am a full time mum chasing Milla around. We are sharing a house with Bianca and Matt in Lewisham London. James is currently working on the new tunnels at Kings Cross for the Olympic Games 2012. Anyway, enough said, will keep any eye on the blog. Cheers, Giselle

P.S Bruce, what is your webcam address and Joseph when is your baby due?
