Good day everyone!

Stopher we have met once before when you came down to Singapore. I remember you asking me to help you onto the net at our house. Is this your line of work? IT? Anyway good work with the blog site!

The name's Bruce, I am the son of Regina Wong and my elder sister is Elaine Wong. I am almost the youngest among the cousins except for Nathan, Jessica, Lawrence and Aaron and am now residing in Perth under the careful guidence of Aunty Jenny.

I would first like to congratulate Joseph on his wedding! Really happy for you cous! Same for the belated congratulations to Chris. I will be flying down to Sydney soon for two to three weeks. Hope to catch up with you then.

I have always been very curious about our family tree and I remember having extensive talks with Giselle and Joseph on this topic, it feels so surreal to finally have the opportunity to get to know cousins I have never known before through this site.

Hi there long lost cousins, I believe I haven't met Ignatius, Clement, Jackie(Edward & Margaret's Kids)Eric, Amanda & Jackie (Ned's Kids)Steve, Lan, Kim, Chun, Pete (Theresa's Kids. Hope we could meet one day and solve this persistent mystery in my life.

To the cousins I know! Cheers mate! Bianca, looks like you are really having the time of your life now. Give my regards to Matt.

Regards
Bruce

Leonard & Stopher @ Lifeboat DrillsSpeaking of travels, Leonard & I travelled to Eastern Canada & New England for a cruise to see the fall foliage. This areas is fun and very lay back. People are so friendly and the nothing beats the colors of the fall in New England.

The trip started in Boston and we sailed on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas. Our ports of calls were, Portland Maine, Martha's Vineyard, St. John/New Brunswick, Bar Harbor, and Halifax/Nova Scotia

Here are some of my pictures from my trip

Yellowstone

Home

Hello

Here are some more photos of our time in Yellowstone National Park which covers the states of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.

From Salt Lake City we drove another 6 hours and stayed in a town just outside of the Park for 3 nights. That gave us 2 full days to drive around Yellowstone and see the sights. Yellowstone was beautiful, with heaps of scenery and wildlife like Bison, Deer and we even came across a black bear who was on the search for pine cones before his long hibernation period.

The area was apparently once a massive volcano and is still very unstable so there are heaps of what they call Mudpots and Geysers, where under ground water mixed with limestone is boiled and shoots from the ground. It was really smelly too!

The bear was the highlight for me :)

Bianca.

Hi From Salt Lake City, Utah

Home

G'day from the USA,

Here are some photo's of us in Salt Lake City. We were only there for one night and that was more than enough for us.

After a 6 hour drive we checked in to a very dodgy hostel that seemed more like an old persons home/Graylands. We then walked down the road to check out down town and the main morman chapel. The chapel was a nice building but there was heaps of mormans around every corner ready to trap you in a corner and tell you all about there religion. Not that there is anything wrong with mormans!!!

We were in Seattle the last few days so i will send pics soon.

Bianca & Matt's Trek

BiancaHello everyone,

Well after 3 and a bit months here in Aspen the time has come for Matthew and I to move on. Although we are really excited about the rest of our trip, Aspen has been really good for us and goodbyes are always sad. During our last few days, Aspen has put on a spectacular show of snowy mountain peaks, rainy days and extremely cold conditions which has been pretty to the eye but soooo damn cold!

My last day of work was on Wednesday and the last few days have been pretty miserable for me as i have been battling the dreaded cold as well as trying to get everything organised before we leave tomorrow. Matty finished work on Tuesday which he was pretty happy about and the family he worked for got him a going away present which was a tee-shirt they thought suited him and a photo album with photo's of the 'boys' at the parties they have catered for throughout the summer.

Bianc & Matt CampingDuring our time in Aspen we made heaps of new friends and hope to keep in touch with them as much as possible and hopefully some make it out to Oz one day to visit us. An awesome chick i met who i also worked with at Poppycocks was Madelyn. Mads decided to live in a Tee-Pee for the summer and we finally got to experience the tee pee lifestyle the other night. She prepared the wood frame herself from fallen trees she collected in the area and ordered the canvas from some shop on line. The tee pee was 14 feet in diameter which was the recommended size in order to have a camp fire inside. So we went to her Tee-Pee and ate fondue and smores around her camp fire and met some great people - it heaps of fun although i did smell like a camp fire for the next few days. (For those who don't know, smores are crackers with marshmallows and chocolate).

Rugby festAnother recent highlight was the Rugby Festival which is held every year in Aspen. Teams from around the state come here to play in a tournament and they take it pretty seriously. We went to the final between Denver and Aspen and heard heaps of Aussie, New Zealand and English accents around the place....mainly NZ's!!

Brandon & Cassidy; Annie & David's Kids
So here are the last photo's of our time in Aspen. They are of where we have been working, the people we have been working with, more photo's of Aspen, the tee-pee party we went to and the rugby game. Oh and for my family, the two kids on the lawn are Cassidy and Brandon (Annie's kids).
So we leave tomorrow morning by rental car and head to Salt Lake City. I am not sure how much internet access we will have over the next few months but we have our laptop and a lot of motels in this country offer free intenet connection in their rooms, so we should be able to check our emails regularly.

Thanks for listening,

Bianca
